FIRST FEDERAL OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY

"$10,000 Giveaway"

 

Introduction: Opening an account, obtaining a loan, or using any other product or service of First Federal of Northern Michigan or any of its affiliates is not necessary to enter and does not increase your odds or wining.

Start Date: June 4, 2007

End Date: July 3, 2007

Eligibility: All entrants must be 18 years or older and a legal residents or property owners of the counties that we serve in Michigan: Alpena, Alcona, Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Iosco, Kalkaska, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle. Employees of First Federal of Northern Michigan, its parent company or its affiliates, their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouses) and/or persons living in the same household as such employees, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate.

Entry: To enter, visit any First Federal of Northern Michigan branch during normal business hours and fill out an entry form. One entry per day per person. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of First Federal of Northern Michigan, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

Timing: The $10,000 giveaway will take place on Friday, July 6th, 2007, at 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Alpena on the corner of Second Avenue and Chisholm Street. Once a name has been drawn, he/she will have five minutes to report to the stage to qualify for the $10,000. In case the celebration is cancelled on July 6th due to weather or for some other reason, the drawing will take place on July 13th at the same location and time. You must be present to win.

Winner: The winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Release of Liability. Under Federal law, First Federal of Northern Michigan is required to report the taxable value of the awarded prizes to the Internal Revenue Service. Any and all taxes, fees, and /or any other costs incurred in claiming or using the prize are the sole responsibility of the sweepstakes winner. Acceptance of the prize is an acknowledgement of these stipulations and requirements.

Prize: One winner will receive $10,000 deposited in a First Federal Money Market account upon proof of eligibility. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The prize will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable.

Limitation of Liability: First Federal of Northern Michigan is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged entry forms. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to release and hold First Federal of Northern Michigan, their parent company, successors, subsidiaries, and affiliates, harmless from and against all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, settlements or judgments arising out of or relating to entrant’s entry, participation in this Sweepstakes, participation in any prize-related activities, or use or misuse of any prizes awarded hereunder.

Winners List: The Winner’s name will be posted at all First Federal of Northern Michigan branch locations or you may send a stamped, self-addressed envelope before July 31, 2007 to: First Federal of Northern Michigan, attn: Sweepstake Winner, 100 South Second Ave. Alpena, Michigan 49707.
